Golden Light Visualization

Please share with anyone struggling with mental health as this 5-minute guided meditation will help dissipate stress, anger, anxiety, sadness, depression, fears, disturbing thoughts, and any external influence.

If the students struggle with visualization, simply believing in what should be taking place will be just as effective, and with time, they will surely develop and improve their visualization skills.

This exercise is quite simple, the students will be visualizing a beautiful golden light surrounding their feet and then allowing this light to slowly rise until it reaches the top of their heads, but as it rises, they must remain conscious that it also covers their body in a beautiful golden light.

    Meditation exercise (5 minutes):

    • Close your eyes and take a deep slow breath.
    • See a beautiful golden light covering your feet—see it surrounding your toes, your ankles, and your heels—and feel the light keeping you warm and making you happy.
    • Now see the light slowly rise to your knees, but as it rises, it also covers your body in a beautiful golden light.
    • Now see the light slowly keep rising until it reaches your stomach, and see it shine brighter and brighter as it fills your stomach; it is very calming and relaxing.
    • Now see the light rise to your heart, and see it shine brighter and brighter as it fills your heart; it is very peaceful and loving.
    • Now see the light rise and cross to your left shoulder, and slowly move down your left arm until it reaches the tips of your fingers.
    • See it rise once more and cross to your right shoulder, and slowly move down your right arm until it reaches the tips of your fingers.
    • Now see the light return to your heart, and slowly keep rising to your neck, then your face, and finally reaching the top of your head.
    • See the beautiful golden light surrounding your head, your arms, your legs, see it surrounding your whole body, and feel it keeping you warm, protecting you, keeping you safe, and making you strong and happy.
    • Now relax all your muscles and allow yourself to enter a deeper state of relaxation, and feel the light take away all your stress and fill you with peace, take away all your sadness and fill you with happiness, take away all your fears and fill you with courage, and take away all your anger and fill you with love.
    • You may now see the beautiful golden light that surrounds your body slowly disappear but know that it’s always with you—protecting you, keeping you safe, and making you strong and happy.
    • Now when you are ready, you may open your eyes and have a beautiful and wonderful day.
