I personally meditate to nurture my relationship with my higher self, to open channels to higher wisdom, and to align with my true purpose. Meditation is not a fixed destination—it is an ever-evolving journey: intimate, personal, and uniquely yours. Embrace the practice and trust your journey as it gently unfolds.

Just as a pendulum swings equally from left to right, a meditation practice must balance a focused state of mind—such as breathwork, mantra, contemplation, or visualization—with a state of stillness: remaining peacefully within, aware of the physical body, yet quiet, without movement, thought, or emotion. This cycle induces a deep meditative state by uniting all polar opposites into one: feminine and masculine, receptive and projective, darkness and light, yin and yang, moon and sun, negative and positive, unconscious and conscious. For example, if we perform a breathwork exercise for ten minutes, we should immediately follow it with ten minutes of stillness. During stillness, we simply remain peacefully within, aware of our physical body—not by shutting everything out, but by calmly observing whatever arises and gently releasing it. Whenever we notice that our mind has drifted, we simply bring our focus back within.

We should always end a meditation practice with full awareness of our physical body. Gently bring your consciousness to the top of your head and slowly scan down through your body until you reach the tips of your toes. Then stretch your arms and legs, move your fingers and toes, and return gently to the present moment.

Contemplation, breathwork, visualization, and stillness exercises will always manifest clear, pleasant, and safe experiences, filled with wisdom and understanding as these experiences remain guided by our higher self and are always measured according to our potential for growth at that specific moment.

Overcoming Fears: A powerful exercise is to write down what you fear on a piece of paper. Contemplate that fear, then set the paper on fire and watch it burn. This simple ritual manifests your fears onto the physical-material realm and then dissolves them, preventing them from ever manifesting into your life.

Intuition is like a single drop of water—pure, clear, and flowing from our higher self to guide us along our journey. It is always a loving and peaceful experience, never one that evokes fear or panic. Instead, it gently calls our attention to something important around us, something we are meant to become conscious of. When we trust this inner voice, we open the channel to our higher self and welcome a stream of divine guidance. But when we doubt or hesitate, we close that channel. If we keep it open, intuition will lead us into a refreshing spiritual awakening—like diving into the vast ocean and seeing the hidden, magical world within it.

Picture yourself on a small boat in the middle of the ocean—this represents our initial state of consciousness. You don’t know how to swim, you don’t know how to fly, and you are not in control of anything that happens around you—this is life on the physical-material realm.

Suddenly, a large wave forms, strikes the side of your boat, and throws you into the water—this symbolizes any unforeseen negative experience that can arise in your life. You begin to sink to the bottom of the ocean, left at the mercy of your final breath and the predators lurking beneath the surface. A group of hungry sharks now appears—these represent the negative energies that roam the lower states of consciousness. They torment us, feeding off our fears and draining our energy.

To return to the safety of your boat, you must first learn how to swim—you must simply learn how to raise your state of consciousness. But depending on how deep you have fallen, you may need to raise it several times. Once you have returned to your boat, you are still exposed to the risks of unforeseen circumstances—we remain within the grasp of darkness. But now, you hold the knowledge and tools to overcome it.

Learning how to fly would completely remove you from harm’s way—raising your vibration allows you to reach enlightenment and transcend the dangers of the physical-material realm.

Enlightenment is not about believing we are enlightened. It is not about being religious, nor is it about committing ourselves to a life of charity. It is not about practicing yoga or meditation on a regular basis. True enlightenment is strictly the personal experience of our consciousness uniting with our higher consciousness and becoming one—once again—with our higher self, with the universe, and experiencing God, the eternal divine energy that holds life across the universe: divine love.

The experience of enlightenment instantly shatters all fear and dissolves the illusion of physical death. It awakens within us an entirely new perspective on life—one where fulfillment is no longer sought in anything physical or material. From that moment forward, our only concern is to be of service to humanity. Enlightenment feels as though a divine power lifts us from above, carrying us out of our physical body and into the higher realms—it is a deeply conscious awakening, not only of rising upward, but of expanding infinitely until we dissolve into oneness with everything in the universe.

Once we learn how to navigate through the human states of consciousness, we quickly realize how many entities are present all around us, both positive and negative. Positive entities vibrate at a much higher frequency and help us grow spiritually, whereas negative entities vibrate at a much lower frequency and suppress our growth; they torment us physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Our physical-material realm is designed for the human experience; these higher and lower entities cannot physically manifest on our realm, but they are present and interact with us through our state of consciousness.

Negative entities feed off our fears and drop us into lower states of consciousness; we can keep dropping until we fall through the bottomless pit of darkness—depression.

Positive entities guide us towards higher states of consciousness, past the grasp of darkness; we can keep rising until we reach enlightenment—our current state of consciousness uniting with our higher consciousness.

Consciousness is eternal.
Present across the universe.
And shared across all forms of life.

There are twenty-two divine energies that form each state of consciousness. Each of these twenty-two energies is associated with a Major Arcana Tarot card, a letter of the Hebrew alphabet, and a Path on the Kabbalah (the Tree of Life).

Contemplation is a meditation technique that keeps us conscious and grounded on the physical-material realm and reveals wisdom and understanding that is aligned with our current state of consciousness by engaging our PEMS bodies (physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual) and our physical and spiritual senses. Keep in mind that nothing is permanent, nothing holds a single universal meaning, and we may all hold a different state of consciousness. Therefore, contemplation is extremely important to gain wisdom and understanding that is aligned with our current state of consciousness and to manifest the personal experiences that are required to further our growth. We can contemplate anything—a crystal, a plant, the sky—but to raise our state of consciousness, we must embody a personal experience of all twenty-two divine energies.

The Twenty-Two Days of Contemplation:

  • It is best to complete the following twenty-two days of contemplation exercise first thing in the morning, for at least ten minutes, focusing on one Major Arcana Tarot card per day. Begin with I The Magician and complete the journey with XXII The Fool. You may also choose to contemplate the divine energy of the current Daily Guidance Force to deepen your personal experience.
  • Gently observe the Major Arcana Tarot card. Contemplate the symbols, colours, landscape, characters—immerse yourself in the world within the image.
  • Question what you see, what you feel, and anything that rises within: Who is the main character? What is the character thinking or doing? Are there other characters? What do they reveal?
  • This is a silent, inner process. Remain open to receive. Write down any thought, emotion, sensation, or vision that arises—without judgement.
  • Throughout your day, stay aware of any experience, thought, or event that reflects your morning contemplation. At the end of the day, record these reflections. If no experience manifested, simply repeat that Tarot card at the end of the twenty-two days.
  • As you wake, document your dreams or lingering thoughts immediately. You have only 10 to 15 seconds before the rational mind interferes and imposes logic.
  • Once you have completed the twenty-two days and deepened your understanding of each divine energy, reread your notes. Let each experience rise again within your consciousness.

To speak in the universal language of love, we must move our lips without making a sound, feeling the words flowing from our hearts—we are speaking from the heart. We must smile and be filled with joy, happiness, and excitement as we express ourselves through this sacred language. It is also important to speak in our mother tongue. We should never express ourselves in a language we aren’t fully familiar and comfortable with.

Once we raise our state of consciousness and elevate our vibration, we may speak in the universal language of love to communicate freely with our higher self, or with any higher entity across the universe.

Remaining grounded is an essential part of our experience on the physical-material realm as it keeps us aligned with source and deeply rooted in love. It restores our peace and inner balance, refines our intuition, and aligns us with the path that furthers our growth. We should always do a grounding exercise after having a profound spiritual experience as we must embody our consciousness back into our physical being. Otherwise, the experience may leave us disconnected with the physical-material realm, disoriented in time, and mentally or emotionally unbalanced. Remaining grounded is also the foundation for discerning between benevolent and malevolent entities.

A ten-minute grounding meditation exercise will help you find your balance and calm your nervous system:

  • Sit comfortably on the floor or on a chair, or even lie down on your back if you’re more comfortable, but your palms have to be resting face down either on your thighs, your knees, or on the ground.
  • Close your eyes or keep them open and stare at a candle flame.
  • Inhale from your mouth as you mentally count to four.
  • Hold your breath as you mentally count to four.
  • Exhale from your mouth as you mentally count to four.
  • Hold your breath once more as you mentally count to four.
  • Keep repeating this cycle until you reach the ten-minute objective.

Tips for This Exercise:

  • Make sure you are breathing from your stomach and not your chest when you do this exercise. As we inhale, we must first lower our diaphragm and expand our stomach until it is filled with air, we can then slowly expand our chest as we fill our lungs with air. As we exhale, we must raise our diaphragm and gently draw our stomach in as we release the air from our lungs and stomach.
  • As our heart rate begins to slow down, we may also increase the count to six, eight, ten, or more, but the objective should never be to reach the highest count possible—our objective should simply be to maintain a comfortable and steady rhythm and tempo throughout the meditation exercise. If we do increase the count, we must do so as we inhale and then maintain that same count for all other steps (inhale, hold, exhale, hold).
  • If we find ourselves gasping for air or tensing up, we must reduce the count for each step in the exercise as a meditation exercise should always be peaceful and relaxing.
  • Having a metronome or a clock nearby with a tick loud enough to hear, but not too loud that it becomes distracting, is a great way of maintaining your focus and keeping a steady tempo.
  • Holding our breath after we inhale should be an easy task as we are fulfilling our ego with abundance but holding our breath after we exhale might be a struggle, as we are stripping ourselves of our ego—and the ego will resist—while realigning our state of consciousness with our higher self.
  • I love connecting with nature when I do this exercise as I find it really enhances the experience—I simply sit outside on the grass on a beautiful sunny day with my palms resting face down on the ground.

We may balance and harmonize the natural flow of energy across our PEMS bodies by holding the following position for a minimum of twenty-two minutes.

  • After activating your palm chakras, lie on your back, close your eyes, and take three deep breaths.
  • Bend your left knee and rest your left foot on the floor.
  • Bend your right knee and place your Achilles tendon—the largest tendon in the body, connecting the calf muscles to the heel bone—on top of your left knee.
  • Bend your right elbow and rest the center of your right palm directly on your left nipple.
  • Rest the inside of your left elbow gently on your Third Eye chakra, and place your left palm upon your right shoulder.
  • It is important that your palms maintain direct skin contact with your body throughout the meditation.

It is very important to have a morning ritual and to set our intention first thing in the morning. A ritual helps us manifest anything we desire—but for it to be effective, our thoughts, emotions, and actions must be fully aligned as we perform it.

Our intention can be to manifest a loving relationship, a fulfilling career, or it may simply be to protect ourselves, to remain positive and joyful, or to cultivate health and balance. Performing a ritual does not have to be complicated. It can be as simple as meditation or visualization, reciting a mantra or a prayer, contemplating a vision board, performing a magickal ritual, or even a combination of these practices.

We can also call upon higher beings for support—such as Archangel Michael for protection, Archangel Raphael for his emerald healing energy, or any other Archangels or higher souls who guide us.

A ritual does not have to be long; even a simple two-minute practice can be powerful, as long as we perform it regularly—and every time, we must do it with grace, with focus, and with our full and undivided attention.

It is also essential to trust our intuition. Our ritual is always a work in progress—we will continually refine it, evolve it, and adapt it as we grow.

There are a few other things to remember before performing your morning ritual:

  • You can hold a ritual for yourself, or you can include others—your partner, children, parents, friends, or anyone else. But if you include others, you must clearly specify—and visualize—their relationship to you, their full name, and their date of birth.
  • If you recite a mantra, a prayer, or affirm your intention during the ritual, you should always speak in the universal language of love—from the heart, with joy, and with sincerity.
  • Your ritual must be unique to you. Keep it private—never share it with others or perform it in front of others. If you use a mantra or prayer, it is always best to write your own, in your own words, based on your experiences and beliefs. This ensures it aligns with your current state of consciousness and your higher self, and it keeps your ritual safe—hidden from the grasp of darkness.
  • Never, under any circumstance, wish harm upon anyone, or think, feel, or visualize anything negative. Love must always be at the core of everything we do.

When we overcome our fears and align the ego with our higher self, we unlock the infinite possibilities within us. The mind becomes the canvas for our reality—and a morning ritual of visualizations and affirmations becomes the paintbrush that shapes our life.

Daily mantra to align with the greater version of self:
“I am love, I am peace, and I am truth
I am love, I am peace, and I am truth
I am love, I am peace, and I am truth
I control my actions, my emotions, and my thoughts
I control my actions, my emotions, and my thoughts
And I remain in the present moment.”

We experience both the physical and spiritual realms through the senses of our PEMS bodies—Physical, Emotional, Mental, and Spiritual—as well as through the energies of our seven main chakras, the identity of our ego, and the guidance of our divine soul. Understanding these four aspects of our being, and keeping them in balance and harmony, is essential for living a healthy, joyful, and fulfilling life.

Meditation is like tuning a musical instrument, it harmonizes the four aspects of our being.

The human body is composed of one physical part and three energetic parts:

  • The Physical Body can be seen and touched. It is directly affected—positively or negatively—by the foods we eat, the thoughts we think, the emotions we feel, and the actions we take.
  • The Emotional Body is a field of energy that surrounds the physical body. It holds our feelings, emotions, and the energetic connections we share with others and the world around us.
  • The Mental Body is a field of energy that surrounds the emotional and physical bodies. It holds the functions of both the left and right brain—logic, creativity, memory, and perception.
  • The Spiritual Body is a field of energy that surrounds the mental, emotional, and physical bodies. It is the doorway to higher states of consciousness and ultimately, to enlightenment. But this body can only be fully activated once the lower three bodies—the physical, emotional, and mental—are brought into balance and harmony.

If you seek to cultivate balance within your PEMS bodies, dedicate time each day to an activity that nurtures passion and joy within you. Even simple daily practices can bring harmony and raise your state of consciousness.

Here are examples of activities that nourish each body:

  • Physical Body: Sunbathing, Gardening, Yoga, Martial Arts, Hiking, Rock Climbing, Cycling, Running, Horseback Riding.
  • Emotional Body: Swimming, Journaling, Fishing, Dancing, Singing, Painting, Acting, Storytelling.
  • Mental Body: Chess, Problem-Solving Puzzles, Reading, Writing, Coding, Fencing, Tennis, Badminton, Golf.
  • Spiritual Body: Visualization, Contemplation, Tarot, Stargazing.

Meditation and playing a musical instrument are beautiful practices that nourish all four PEMS bodies simultaneously—bringing us closer to balance, harmony, and inner peace.

A mindfulness meditation exercise helps realign our PEMS bodies and keeps us grounded on the physical-material realm.

We may begin this day-long practice by contemplating each of our physical senses for two minutes, then remaining mindful of everything we do and experience throughout the day.

  • Seeing: A candle flame, a crystal, a leaf, a cloud…
  • Hearing: The sound of the ocean, rainfall, a singing bird…
  • Smelling: The scent of a ripe tomato, a rose, incense, basil…
  • Touching: The texture of sand, fur, silk, grass…
  • Tasting: The flavour of a mango, a walnut, chocolate, honey…
  • Proprioception (awareness of position, movement, balance, muscle force, and effort): Your body and muscles as you walk, exercise, lie down, or hold a yoga pose…

By consciously observing these simple experiences, we gently anchor ourselves in the present moment, bringing balance to our PEMS bodies and reconnecting with the natural flow of life.

We can work with crystals and gemstones to enhance our meditation practice in many ways. They may be placed around us—on the floor or on a table—held in our hands, worn as jewelry, or even used as a focus for contemplation. We can also dedicate a crystal or gemstone to hold a specific purpose.

  • Boji Stones are excellent for aligning our chakras and our PEMS bodies (physical, emotional, mental, spiritual). They also help ground us and anchor us in the present reality. They come in pairs, and during meditation, you simply hold one in each hand.
  • Holding a Smoky Quartz in one hand and a Hematite in the other will help dissipate stress and harmonize the PEMS bodies.
  • Chrysoprase is wonderful for inducing a deep meditative state—I often keep them over my temples with a headband.
  • Garnet has a song of its own; you can hear healing frequencies when meditating with one over each ear, and focusing on these frequencies will energize and regenerate the PEMS bodies.
  • Seraphinite opens a direct channel to the higher realms and to our higher self.
  • Contemplating on a Labradorite sphere allows our consciousness to explore other dimensions and realities, while sleeping with a Labradorite pendant helps uncover what lies hidden deep within. A powerful way to venture deep into your subconscious and bring to light the darkness that dwells within is to sleep with both a Labradorite pendant and a Labradorite cabochon placed over your third eye, held in place with a headband. Adjust the pendant cord so the crystal rests over your heart chakra, while the cabochon remains over your third eye chakra.

I always recommend trusting your intuition when selecting crystals—when a crystal comes to mind, captivates you, or you feel its energy as you hold it in your left hand, it is your higher self guiding you to work with it because you need its healing energy at that specific moment.

We must also regularly cleanse and reenergize our crystals and gemstones to receive the fullest benefit from their guiding and healing energies. This can be done by smudging them with white sage, placing them in direct sunlight, under the light of the full moon, in a sound bath, or holding the following ritual:

  • After activating the palm chakras, hold your left hand out in front of you with the palm facing upward.
  • Place your crystal on your left palm, close your eyes, and take three deep breaths.
  • Hold your right hand six to eight inches above the crystal, and visualize divine light and divine love cleansing and recharging it.
  • Say aloud: “May this crystal be filled with the divine light of enlightenment and with divine love.
  • Visualize your crystal glowing with divine light and radiating with divine love. Your crystal is now cleansed and recharged.
  • You may also remain in this empowering state for as long as you wish, fully embodying the crystal’s energy.

Note: Never leave Citrine, Celestite, or Amethyst in direct sunlight, as their colors will fade over time.

The palm chakras are circular vortexes of energy located at the center of our palms. The left palm chakra, embodying the receptive, calming, and passive qualities of the Divine Feminine, allows energy to flow into our PEMS bodies. The right palm chakra, embodying the projective, stimulating, and outgoing qualities of the Divine Masculine, allows energy to flow out of our PEMS bodies.

  • Close your eyes and take three deep breaths.
  • Rub your palms together until you feel a warm heat building between them.
  • Quickly open and close your hands eight to ten times, tapping the tips of your fingers to the center of your palms.
  • Keep your hands open with your palms facing upward, and visualize a radiant divine light shining from the center of each palm.
  • Now, turn your palms toward each other, about one inch apart, and slowly move them forward and backward in a gentle, circular motion. Continue this movement—never allowing your palms to touch—until you begin to feel a sphere of divine energy pulsing between them. Your palm chakras are now activated.

If you find yourself struggling with visualization, do not be discouraged. Simply believing in what should be taking place is just as effective. With patience and practice, your ability to visualize will naturally grow and strengthen.

STEP 1: A Familiar Object
Complete the following two-minute exercise:

  • Recreate a familiar object in your mind with as much detail as possible.
  • Once you become comfortable doing this, you may proceed to Step 2.

STEP 2: The Hebrew Letter
Print out the following image of the Hebrew letter Samech: Download Here.
(This image must be printed on physical paper; the exercise will not work if you only stare at it on a screen.)

Exercise:

  • Sit comfortably and hold the image at a distance of one to two feet, leveled with your eyes. Ensure no light shines from behind it.
  • Gaze steadily at the Hebrew letter without blinking until your eyes begin to burn slightly and a shimmering glow appears over and around the letter.
  • Close your eyes and concentrate on the glowing image that remains in your mind.
  • End the exercise when the image has completely faded. (At first, the glowing image will last only a fraction of a second.)
  • When you can hold the glowing image for a couple of seconds, move on to Step 3.

STEP 3: The Carving Step
Exercise:

  • Repeat the same initial process with the printed image of Samech.
  • When the glowing image begins to fade, close your eyes, extend your right arm forward, and point with your index and middle fingers.
  • Visualize your fingers joining the glowing image in your mind.
  • Physically move your arm as if you are painting the Hebrew letter in your mind with your fingers.
  • Imagine you are carving out the darkness, allowing divine light to enter your mind through the shape of the Hebrew letter.
  • When the glowing image returns, stop the carving motion and focus again on the light.
  • Remain in a peaceful state, visualizing divine light pouring into your mind through the sacred shape. Repeat the carving step whenever the image begins to fade, for a minimum of ten minutes.
